PT. PUTRA PERKASA ABADI was founded in 2002 specializing in heavy equipment rental & mining services specialist. Our first stepping stone project was in East Kalimantan ' Kideco Jaya Agung' coalmine site ( top5 in Indonesia) , as a mine support service sub-contractor of PT. Pamapersada Nusantara. During our first years, we quickly learnt and assimilated the corporate culture of our world-class customers & partners, and continue to strive for excellence.

As of 2004, we expanded upstream and established ourselves as a full-service mining contractor in South Kalimantan, and in 2005 secured a long-term contract with PT. Dasa Eka Jasatama in developing the KCM Blok II site, supplying to Tenaga Nasional Sdn. Bhd ( Malaysian Power & Utility Co.) and other bona fide end-users. Our progress was 1.6 million BCM of overburden removed in our quick start-up years, with optimist target of 1 million MT/ annum of coal in 2008.

Our mining clients recognize the advantages of using us as their mining contractor as they are able to focus on mining exploration and marketing. In addition, our extensive knowledge of local working conditions and legislation, whether it is negotiating with local residents or with government bodies, is a distinct advantage. This allows for a smooth, efficient workflow and ensures successful and timely completion of projects.
